The Australian Big Bash League has been a huge success, drawing massive crowds to watch exciting Twenty20 cricket matches featuring the best players in world cricket.
The match between Melbourne Renegades and Melbourne Stars on Saturday was no different, with the Stars having to respond to the Renegades’ total of 155 to win the match.
But something very strange happened concerning Dwayne Bravo, Peter Nevill and Adam Zampa during the Renegades’ innings. We’ll let the gif do the talking, because you would never believe our explanation.

Yeah. That.
Zampa was bowling to Bravo, who came out of his crease and hit the ball towards the non-striker. Bravo’s partner, Nevill, was well out of his crease and the ball struck the 30-year-old’s bat, causing it to deviate towards Zampa’s face.
After ricocheting off Zampa’s nose, giving the Australian a nosebleed, the ball flew on to the wicket – Nevill had been run out.
One of the strangest dismissals I've ever seen! #BBL05 #Zampa
