Drake’s love for his home-town Toronto Raptors spilled out onto the court on Monday night – and it almost helped his team win.

The Canadian rapper, a regular at courtside, was caught trash-talking Chicago Bulls guard Justin Holiday as Monday night’s match went down to the wire.

The thing is, it worked.

Holiday was understandably distracted – it’s not often a Grammy Award-winning artist is chirping in your ear – and the Bulls man took too long to inbound the ball which handed possession back to the Raptors with 25.8 seconds left.

However, Drake’s boys didn’t capitalise on their star mascot’s intervention – he is actually the franchise’s official global ambassador – as they lost the game 109-107.
