AP McCoy might be the greatest jockey in the world, but he can’t outrun the police
The 20-time champion jockey was filming an interview in a car for Great British Racing’s Inside Track series in preparation for the Grand National when the police were alerted by the cameras that something might be amiss.
If you want to go straight to that moment, then skip to about 4:30 in this video – but there’s plenty of other stuff worth watching in there too.
We also like the game of “50 Shades of Grey or AP McCoy’s book”, which proves to be surprisingly hard – even for the man who wrote one of them.
If the whole thing seems a bit surprising, you’re probably unaware that McCoy has written a couple of thrillers – Taking The Fall and Narrowing The Field.

Is there anything that man can’t do?
