Indian Premier League outfit Kolkata Knight Riders are serious title contenders in the upcoming VIVO IPL T20 2016, having already won the cricketing extravaganza twice in the 2012 and 2014 edition under the captaincy of Gautam Gambhir.

Kolkata Knight Riders will be based in Kolkata and Eden Gardens will be their home ground.
KKR have appointed former all-rounder Jacques Kallis as their new head coach replacing Trevor Bayliss. Additionally, KKR have also hired former Australian batsman Simon Katich as their assistant coach. Pakistan legend Wasim Akram will continue being KKR’s mentor and bowling coach for the upcoming campaign.

Gautam Gambhir’s Kolkata Knight Riders will host Zaheer Khan led Delhi Daredevils at the Eden Gardens on 10th April, 2016.
