David Warner bags two prestigious awards at Allan Border Medal Ceremony 2016

Australia’s devastating opener David Warner clinched the Allan Border Medal and Test Player of the Year award on Wednesday, in the award ceremony organised by Cricket Australia.

Just after troubling India enough in the recent ODI series, Aussie all-rounder Glenn Maxwell was presented with the ODI player of the year award.

In the glistening night in Melbourne other gainers who were handed an award include woman cricketer Ellyse Perry and Adam Voges. Perry carried home Belinda Clark Award with her and Voges won the Domestic Player of the Year award. Budding all-rounder Alex Ross bagged Bradman Young Cricketer of the Year award with hope for an International call- up.
