The 28-year-old Serb who is currently at the top of his game will now be facing World no.33 Portuguese, J. Sousa on 28th March at 2:30am (IST). The World no.1 has been playing exceeding well this year. First, he claimed the Australian Open at the start of the year. Later he clinched victory in the Indian Wells and now he is all set to claim his next title of Miami open.
He claimed an easy 6-3, 6-3 victory against Kyle Edmund. Djokovic will now face J. Sousa in the third round. The duo has met twice before with Novak Djokovic claiming both the wins. Considering the 26-year-olds current form, Sousa’s win in tomorrow’s match does seem to be doubtful. He has won three out of the last ten matches played. Sousa clearly seems to be an easy target for the Serb.
