Calling Virat Kohli the most loved sports personality in India, legendary Portuguese footballer Luis Figo expressed ecstasy on social media. Almada-born football great Figo met the Indian vice-captain, unplanned on Tuesday and didn’t feel shy to share a photograph on Twitter.

The in-form, Kohli was presented with the Man of the Tournament award in the recently concluded ICC World T20 2016. The 27-year-old Delhi boy scored 273 runs in the tournament which included three delightful fifty-plus knocks. Classifying it as a fanboy moment, Kohli too shared a photograph on social media.
One of greatest wingers from his generation, Figo has won 127 caps for the national team, which is highest by a player. Figo was dominant in club football too as he made 106 assist in La Liga, which stands second following Lionel Messi who has 120 assists.
Awarded with the Ballon d’Or in 2000 and FIFA World Player of the Year in 2001, Figo struck 32 goals for Portugal and 68 goals for Barcelona and Real Madrid playing in Spanish league – La Liga.
