Jamie Vardy was once again the main attraction as Leicester moved another step closer to Premier League glory with a 2-0 win over Sunderland.
Remarkably it was their fifth straight clean sheet, but Jamie Vardy’s second-half opener made history in itself.
The England striker became the first Leicester player since Gary Lineker to break the 20-goal mark in the top-flight, finishing the day with 21 after a stoppage-time second.
But Lineker, modest as ever, refused to steal the limelight
Jamie Vardy is the first @LCFC player to score 20 goals in a top flight season since @GaryLineker in 84/85

That’s not important at this moment so I don’t think I’ll retweet it. https://t.co/y9VVZ14x1t

There’s no doubting who the man of the moment is though…

But there’s no pleasing some people…
Vardy scores we know Leicester will win the BPL . can’t put up with Gary Lineker gloating for a year though.
