The match between India and UAE was more supposed to be that of between David and Goliath. The number one ranked T20 side in the world, India took on UAE in their last league match of Asia Cup 2016. India has already qualified for the final and they will face a resurgent Bangladeshi side on Sunday, 6th March. Though UAE hasn’t won a single match in the whole competition but their performance in the whole tournament is worth noticing.It was a great learning curve for the minnows. India won the one-sided contest by 9 wickets.
