Here's a jockey's-eye view of what it's like to win the Grand National

Ever dreamt of winning the Grand National? Well, this video will take you about as close as you’re ever likely to get.

Jockey Leighton Aspell was wearing a GoPro when he won the race at Aintree aboard Many Clouds last year – and you can watch the whole thing from his point of view.

Great British racing and Channel 4 have also put together a condensed, minute-long version if you don’t have time to watch the whole thing.

Aspell, who also won in 2014 aboard Pineau de Re, will become the first jockey to win three Nationals in a row if he can guide favourite Many Clouds to victory again this weekend.

The Crabbie’s Grand National takes place on Saturday April 9, live on Channel 4 at 5.15pm.
