The duo of Virender Sehwag and Sachin Tendulkar has formed one of the most daunting opening pairs in world cricket. Both the batsmen have played for India at the top level and have provided some memorable starts in almost every format of the gentlemen’s game. Apart from the similar batting stance, both Viru-Sachin shares a great camaraderie on and off the field which has fascinated the cricket lovers world over.

Post retirement, both the legends of Indian cricket have opted for different professions. Sehwag has started his stint as a TV commentator, whereas Sachin is associated with various social causes.

But lately, Sehwag has managed to stay in limelight more often than not with his constant social media presence and some really witty tweets. On social media platform – Twitter, Viru’s hilarious tweets have created a huge fanbase for the ‘Nawab of Najafgarh’. Just like his swashbuckling style of batting, his comments are just enough to turn a dull day into an interesting one.

The master blaster was his recent victim as Sehwag trolled his idol and former opening partner with an array of tweets.

Sachin congratulated Team India after they defeated New Zealand by 178 runs in the second Test at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata. Virat Kohli’s men reclaimed the No.1 spot in the ICC test team rankings. The ‘God of Cricket’ took to Twitter to congratulate his juniors. He wrote, "A spectacular victory by Team INDIA & many congratulations on regaining the No. 1 position in the world test cricket!! #INDvNZ."

Quick to notice this, Sehwag ‘The Prankster’ who is an official commentator for the India-NZ series tried to pull his former teammate's leg. He replied with a funny tweet asking Sachin to motivate him for his commentary skills.

However, Tendulkar responded in kind and send his wishes to Viru with a sweet message.

But, Sehwag who was in no mood to give up, once again caught the master blaster off-guard with a superb reply which Sachin would not have imagined in his wildest of the dreams.

There is a new God of Sarcasm on Twitter, and it's the 'Nawab of Najafgarh'!
