The Indian women cricket team on Sunday lost to Australia thanks to a sudden batting collapse in the 3rd T20 international at Sydney. Australian all-rounder Ellyse Perry powered Aussies to a 15-run consolation win as India had already clinched the T20 series 2-1.
The series win was historic as the Indians won a series on Australian soil for the first time ever.
Perry scored an unbeaten 55 runs off 41 balls for the Aussies. Her sky-high three sixes amazed the spectators at Sydney Cricket Ground. The Australians managed 136 runs off their 20 overs.
For the Indians, Vellaswamy Vanitha scored 28 runs, as others in the batting lineup failed to stay on the crease for long. Perry then starred with the ball as she took 4 while giving away only 12 runs.
